First Time

Something must be done about bullying in schools. The school bully is never taken to task for hurting and tormenting other students. Pricipals and teachers of schools especially, the private ones, view bullying as a part of the daily school routine. Some teachers make the serious mistake of telling the harrassed student to "fight back" making it even worse. The bullied student in an effort to escape the corner that he/she has been painted into, tries to break out of it by the use of violent force. It is so sad to see that in every case, the victim is always overlooked; but when he becomes the perpetrator, he receives all the attention even from beyond the grave. I think that the nerds and the dweebs deserve to dwell in peaceful coexistence in every school from elementary to university. Some teachers need to change their attitude to certain students as they are unaware of the emotioal harm they cause to many students. Please, educators, do some research on Autism and Aspergers Syndrome.
